Amapola changing name and livery to Populair!

Amapola, originally a freight airline specializing in mail flights within Sweden, has transformed its services to encompass both passenger transport and cargo operations. Recently, the company introduced a Fokker 50 aircraft named PopulAir sporting a fresh livery, signaling a potential shift toward a passenger-oriented division within Amapola. The airline's fleet consists of nine Fokker 50s, with six of them configured for passenger use and the remaining three dedicated to cargo transport.

Amapola conducts daily routes connecting Stockholm Arlanda and Örnsköldsvik, as well as providing transportation services to Värmland, Finland, and northern Sweden. Additionally, it operates routes such as Gällivare–Kramfors–Arlanda and a circuit from Hemavan to Lycksele. Amapola has established partnerships with airlines like Air Leap and BRA, and even briefly managed the Dublin to Donegal route after Stobart Air's bankruptcy.

The company's rebranding with the name PopulAir suggests a strategic focus on passenger services while retaining its commitment to cargo operations. Despite this evolving emphasis, Amapola remains distinctive as the sole European airline still utilizing the Fokker 50 aircraft.

I do also want to note that only the passenger division will change! The freight part of the company will remain amapola livery and name!
